PERSONALITY TYPE, TEAM BUILDING AND PROCESS IMPROVEMENT: A NATURAL COMBINATION
Abstract
Key Words: Personality, Teambuilding, Relationships, Process
Why can't some teams function as well as others? There are many reasons that can slow a team's progress and effectiveness. Personality assessments of each member of the group and training can help team members see themselves and each other in a different light and can help break down any barriers or misconceptions. Follow up with teambuilding training by working together and learning each others strengths and weakness to help you achieve your goals. Finally, introduce them to process thinking. Processes are developed, followed and modified along the way to improve quality and productivity.
Our purpose is to show that by using personality type, teambuilding exercises and activities to help build strong and understanding relationships, this increases the chance of effective process change throughout the department and hopefully the organization. The 60 minute track session includes:
Integration of:
MBTI - personality type theory and brief preference breakdown
Teambuilding activities - why, where and when to use them
An explanation and sample of our CIP process
Team Expectations and Concerns
Team Roles and Responsibilities
Mandate
