INTEGRATING LEAN SIGMA INTO YOUR QUALITY SYSTEM

This seminar provides you with the skills to improve efficiency and enhance your quality system effectiveness.
Seminar instructor, Joe DeCarlo from Excel Partnership, Inc. has provided extensive hands-on training and consulting support in a variety of industries. He is also a Certified Quality Auditor (CQA-ASQ). Joe was one of the first Lead Auditors to be accredited by the Registrar Accreditation Board (RAB) in the US. He has held Registered Lead Assessor status with the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) in the United Kingdom.
Joe Brackett teaches/coaches the Six Sigma methodology, Statistical Process Control, Design of Experiments including Taguchi methods, the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award criteria, and ISO 9000 quality system standards. Joe has also taught at the university level. He was an instructor/coordinator for Northeastern University's College of Engineering program, Pre-NUPrime, a mathematics program for high school students pursing an engineering career. Joe was also a Faculty Associate with Arizona State University's department of mathematics. Joe is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and has also served as a Senior Examiner for the 1995 Arizona Governors Quality awards, and in 1996-1997 for the Massachusetts Council for Quality award.
Course Content:
- Understand the underlying infrastructure of your Organization that is critical to LSI (Lean -ISO) Enterprise.
- Learn to determine how to focus and deploy Lean-Sigma so that key priorities and strategy issues within your business are addressed.
- Initiate a Company-Wide culture shift geared toward breakthrough change and the pursuit of industry excellence (challenge paradigms).
- Develop an understanding and level of proficiency towards:
- Process Management
- Waste Consciousness
- Lean Analysis Tools
- Managing by Fact Performance
- ISO/TS requirements
- Develop the Performance Links between Executive Dashboards and Floor Level Functional Metrics utilizing Hoshin Planning.
- Understand and develop the discipline and relentless attitude required to achieve World Class Distinction.
Participant Objectives:
- You will have the Know-How and savvy to successfully design and execute strategic business initiatives and tactically engineer rapid deployment of LSI (Lean-Sigma-ISO) education and cross-functional culture change.
- Participant will be able to provide management / process structure and discipline based on measurable and targeted results.
- Learn how to Lead the Transfer of Chaos to Order.
- Participant will understand the passion, leadership and motivation for developing empowered teams that enthusiastically gain the competitive edge.

- Participant will understand the importance of Value Stream cost reduction, waste elimination through consciousness and identification, lean analysis and tool techniques utilized across operations.
