Do You Have the Right Information for Excellence?
David Brown, Ph.D., President
DLB Quality Associates, LLC
: 61 Coach Road, Glastonbury, CT 06033-3237
dave@dlbqa.com
If quality and productivity were easy matters there would be a lot more excellence
around and we wouldn’t have to spend so much time trying to figure out how to achieve
it. A large part of any company’s journey toward excellence consists of having the
right information on hand in order to make all the decisions that need to be made
along the way.
David Brown has worked for many years on the question of what you need to know to
manage quality. He has experience with large corporations in the Hartford CT area
and has perfected a model that covers the information required to achieve quality
for any company’s products or services. He will show you exactly what types of information
are needed and how the elements relate to each other. Dave will relate the well
known basic principles of quality to the implications of the information needs.
He will demonstrate the use of his 16 object, 842 attribute model of quality management.
He will explain the complex relationships among the variables and why it is important
for everyone on your team to have access to up to the minute information.
The purpose of this presentation is to share the author’s model for quality management.
The information model is based on many years of experience working with companies
struggling to gain control over quality issues plus his subsequent successful creation
of a workable system that incorporates all the information needed to manage quality
and productivity. Not just another presentation about the beauty of the forest,
this talk will examine the trees and how they affect each other.
