The capability to clearly define a user requirement is critical to the overall success of a software project. What is your organization doing today to capture requirements and to communicate anticipated results to the end user? Project managers must use an effective requirements gathering technique in order to properly identify and size the functionality requested by the end user. Reliable diagramming techniques including Context Diagrams, Use Cases and Mind Maps and Function Point Analysis as a sizing methodology are the techniques used by leading edge companies. These proven techniques are presented together with the tools and templates necessary to advance your organization towards more effectively measuring and managing software requirements.
