The Human Factor: How to Get People to do What They‘re Supposed To
Wally Hauck, President

Quality Managers need to influence people to change behavior because the people make all the difference and managers most often don’t have authority to demand obedience. This workshop is specifically designed to provide the beliefs and techniques necessary to effectively and efficiently influence people to change their behavior and their attitudes.

Recent research shows that the Human Factor can either “make or break” the quality initiatives. Trust is the critical factor in the ability to influence people. The higher the level of trust in a culture, the more adaptable it is to change and quality improvement is all about change. This workshop will teach managers a set of predictable methods to increase trust.

Participants will learn techniques on how:

            • To use communication styles to improve influencing skills
            • To create trust with anyone even if they don’t like you
            • To influence people to challenge themselves
            • To influence people to behave with integrity and respect
            • To influence people to make agreements to change
            • To influence a change in people’s attitudes
