ASQ Current Happenings

Learn what’s new at ASQ. This informative session is presented by Roger Keller (ASQ Regional Director for Region 1) and David Levy (ASQ Regional Director for Region 3).

They will present key current ASQ initiatives for information and discussion. Several of these initiatives may be exactly what you or your section are looking for to increase recognition of you and your activities or to add value to the programs you make available to your section and community.

Presenter:

Roger Keller
Roger Keller has been involved in the quality profession for over 25 years, and has experience in a variety of industries including telecommunications, commercial electronics, capital equipment manufacture, fiber optics, and plastics. He is currently a Quality Consultant and principal of Keller Quality Consulting, serving a variety of clients in all aspects of Quality Assurance including Quality Management, Quality System Implementation and Quality Auditing.

Roger has an MBA in Operations Management from Babson College and a BS in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York. He holds 4 ASQ Certifications (CQMgr, CQE, CQA & CSSBB). He is a Fellow of ASQ, and has served the North East Quality Council and the Boston Section since 1979 in a variety of positions including: Chair, Vice Chair, and Treasurer. Roger serves on several ASQ committees, locally, regionally, and nationally. Roger is currently the Regional Director for ASQ Region 1.

David Levy
David B. Levy has been involved in the quality profession for over 20 years as a director, manager, engineer, auditor, and most recently as an independent consultant in a variety of industries including telecom, defense and commercial electronics, distribution, ceramics and reinforced plastics. He is currently a Quality Consultant and principal of Levy Quality Consulting, LLC, serving a variety of clients in all aspects of Quality Assurance including Quality Management, Quality Management System Implementation and Quality Auditing.

David has an MS in Operations Management from Polytechnic University and a BS in Ceramic Engineering from Alfred University. David also holds 4 ASQ Certifications (CQMgr, CQE, CQA & CQIA), and has served as an ASQ CQA Prep. Trainer for the Tappan Zee Section. David’s ASQ Member Leader work includes serving as the Regional Director for Region 3, serving the Tappan Zee section as Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer and as Chair of variety of committees for the Tappan Zee Section. Additionally, David serves on a variety of ASQ committees including Nominating Committee, Section Affairs Council (SAC), Section Management Process (SMP) committee and as leader to the Member Benefits Task Force. David is currently a senior member of ASQ.

David and family live in Cortland Manor, NY. He has served as a Cub Scout den leader, a coach for the local Little League and Soccer League, and coordinator of adult softball & football games. David enjoys skiing, swimming, traveling, music, reading & spending quality time with his family.
