Enterprise Information Management is a major undertaking for any organization. It
has been a role traditionally played within the IT organization, however new trends
are demonstrating that using concepts driven by the Quality community can ensure
that data is available and integrated across the entire ERP landscape for any company
– large or small. This paper will be providing some key concepts and examples of
companies who have aligned their data strategy into a full Enterprise Information
Management system and build a case as to why the Quality community needs to be actively
involved and driving in the process.
